Job summary

DPD Bridgwater is seeking a 3.5 Tonne Driver to join our active delivery team. You will be the face of the brand, delivering parcels with care and using handheld tech to plan efficient routes. Expect a 07:30–18:30 shift, Monday to Friday or Sunday to Thursday, with a permanent 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Physically able to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Professional and reliable with customer-facing focus.
• Comfortable navigating local roads and using handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle prep and loading, conduct daily safety checks and load van efficiently.
• Route mastery using handheld tech with predicted windows for customers.
• Deliver smiles and parcels directly to doorsteps with a professional service.
• Problem solving on the go, finding safe places and navigating apartments.
• Handle parcels securely, some up to 25kg, from depot to destination.
