Job summary

World Class Defence Organisation is seeking two Windows Engineer subcontractors for an initial 12-month contract in Stevenage. The role involves BAU support, configuration management, and incident resolution across restricted Windows environments, with on-site duties and a standard 37-hour week.

Requires DV clearance, extensive Windows Server/OS experience, and strong troubleshooting across AD, VDI, storage, and networking. Umbrella payroll and Inside IR35 apply.

Qualifications

• Must hold DV clearance.
• Experienced Windows Engineer with cross-domain skills across Infrastructure & Workplace.
• Hands-on expertise across Windows Server, Windows OS, VDI, Storage, AD & Access Management, networking principles, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational BAU support, administration & configuration management across Windows environments in restricted networks.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the business IT environment.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance and patching across Windows environments.
• Access and implement changes to the restricted Windows Environment with minimal disruption.
• Create, maintain and audit inventory information and asset registers.
