Job summary

Copello Global Ltd is seeking an FPGA Engineer to join our Hampshire team on a permanent basis. You will design, develop and integrate FPGA-based systems, contributing to mission-critical programmes and working on cutting-edge AI, cyber, cloud and digital engineering projects.

Key activities include FPGA design with VHDL/Verilog, real-time DSP, and high-speed interfaces, with collaboration across embedded software, hardware and systems engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience with FPGA design using VHDL and/or Verilog.
• Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience with Embedded C/C++ or Python.
• Understanding of DSP, digital communications and RF principles.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing FPGA solutions using VHDL/Verilog.
• Implementing real-time DSP algorithms.
• Integrating high-speed digital interfaces (ADC, DAC, PCIe).
• Collaborating with embedded software, hardware and systems engineers.
• Testing and validating designs using industry-standard lab equipment.
