Essential Key Skills:

• Windows Server 2016+ administration & build
• VMware vSphere/vCenter/VCF/Hyper-V clustering
• Linux (CentOS/RedHat/Ubuntu)
• PowerShell
• EUD provisioning, maintenance, patching, and hardening; SSO concepts and operation
• Understanding of working in protectively marked environments

Responsibilities, which will be defined during induction, likely include:

• Maintain, improve, and secure SiXworks’ multi-classification, virtualized environments
• Lead small technical teams to deliver high-quality outputs
• Ensure build teams meet quality standards
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure colleagues to enhance 'Secure by Design' capabilities
• Support project-based systems (clouds) during implementation and support lifecycles
• Perform maintenance through change control
• Monitor and manage ticketing and alerting systems
• Triage alerts and perform appropriate actions
• Maintain monitoring components and ensure platforms are patched
• Assess incident impacts, initiate recovery, and follow up
• Identify trends and plan improvements for stability and performance
• Maintain knowledge of secure cloud and network technologies
• Develop personal skills through study and research
• Advise customers and project teams on infrastructure
• Cascade knowledge via articles and support business growth
