Job summary

Experis is seeking a Test Automation Engineer in London to join a growing team working on UK defence and national security projects. You will design, develop and maintain automated test scripts, and collaborate with software developers and test analysts to improve overall software quality.

The ideal candidate has experience in software testing or automation and knowledge of Python/PowerShell/C#/Java. DV clearance is essential at the time of application, with a typical hybrid pattern of 3 days

Qualifications

• Experience in software testing or test automation.
• Knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language (Python/PowerShell/C#/Java).
• Analytical approach to investigating issues and identifying solutions.
• Degree in CS or ISTQB desirable, practical experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Apply established test automation practices and guidelines.
• Investigate software issues, analyse results and suggest solutions.
• Collaborate with developers and testers to improve software quality.
• Contribute to developing and refining test processes and automation approaches.
• Stay up to date with tools, technologies and industry developments.
• Participate in training and professional development activities.
• Attend meetings and training sessions, with UK travel as needed.
