Job summary

Experis UK is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join a growing team working on UK defence and national security projects. Hybrid arrangement typically 3 days on-site and 2 days from home. You will design and develop automated test scripts and work with developers and test analysts to improve software quality.

DV clearance is required at the time of application. The role offers dedicated training, development opportunities and potential travel within the UK and overseas.

Qualifications

• Experience in software testing, automation or related technical discipline.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, PowerShell, C#, or Java).
• Analytical approach to investigating technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Apply established test automation practices and guidelines.
• Investigate software issues, analyse test results and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with software developers and test analysts to improve software quality.
• Contribute to development and refinement of test processes and automation approaches.
• Keep up to date with relevant tools, technologies and industry developments.
• Attend training and professional development activities.
• Attend occasional customer meetings and travel within the UK and potentially overseas.
