Job summary

Secure National Infrastructure is seeking high-caliber Infrastructure / SRE Engineers to design, build, and operate mission-critical production infrastructure supporting UK government and national security missions.

You will own end-to-end architecture and operations, deploy resilient container runtimes with Docker and Kubernetes, and automate CI/CD workflows to boost developer velocity and platform resilience. Hybrid London-based role with security-cleared candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of commercial experience in Infrastructure/SRE or Platform Operations.
• Hands-on experience building, automating, and deploying production architectures.
• Ownership mindset with ability to work in secure, high-trust environments.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline from a top-50 university.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end operational and architectural ownership of high-security, distributed production platforms.
• Architect, deploy, and maintain resilient container runtimes using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Design automated CI/CD deployment workflows and build internal tooling to optimize developer velocity and platform resilience.
• Develop automation, monitoring, and telemetry infrastructure to ensure ultra-low downtime and rapid incident response across complex distributed systems.
• Drive platform innovation and automation initiatives with modern tooling, cutting through operational bureaucracy.
