Job summary

Certes Computing Ltd. is seeking Senior SOC Analysts/Shift Leads with current DV clearance for a government client in Milton Keynes. The role involves operational leadership of security monitoring, investigations and escalations in a 24x7 SOC environment.

Shifts are 12 hours on a rotating pattern, with ASAP start. Candidates should have DV clearance, strong SIEM and incident response skills, and experience mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Current DV Level Security Clearance essential.
• Experience leading security monitoring activities within a SOC.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM platforms, log analysis and security event investigation.
• Experience mentoring technical staff in an operational environment.
• Certifications such as GCIA/GCIH/CySA+ or equivalent desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational leadership of the security monitoring function in a 24x7 SOC.
• Oversee security monitoring, investigation and escalation activities.
• Supervise analysts during live operational service and mentor junior staff.
• Manage 12-hour rotating shift patterns and ensure timely decisions.
