Job summary

Inspire People is recruiting a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for a DV-cleared role based in Taunton, Somerset. The contract entails designing, building and supporting secure infrastructure, including VMware, Windows, Linux and cloud services, with an emphasis on Secure by Design and automation.

The position is Outside IR35 with a daily rate up to £600, offering rolling three-month extensions and a nine-month expected duration. Active DV clearance is required to qualify.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support secure infrastructure across complex environments.
• Administer and optimise VMware, Windows and Linux platforms.
• Support Azure, Microsoft 365 and hybrid cloud services.
• Drive Secure by Design principles across projects and platforms.
• Automate infrastructure deployments and operational processes.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Provide technical leadership to customers and delivery teams.
• Contribute to solution design and project delivery activities.
