Job summary

Leidos UK is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer (T4) to protect critical IT and support MOD applications and infrastructure. You will shape security designs, implement controls, and provide senior engineering support across on-prem and cloud environments.

You will work with risk-based prioritisation, apply standards (NIST, CIS), and lead vulnerability management, incident response and secure configuration activities.

Qualifications

• Proven senior cyber security engineering experience across complex IT environments.
• Experience implementing security as code and policy as code in AWS environments.
• Knowledge of benchmarks (CIS, NIST, STIG) and risk-based prioritisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead security controls across infrastructure, platforms and apps including cloud services.
• Provide security advice and assurance to stakeholders aligned to HM Government/MOD standards.
• Drive vulnerability management, incident response, and security documentation across the programme.
