Job summary

CBSbutler is seeking an experienced SAP Engineering / Administration Consultant to support a major UK defence client in a highly secure environment. The role focuses on practical SAP-enabled processes across manufacturing, engineering, procurement and resource planning.

The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of MRP, SAP integration with TeamCenter, and the ability to work with engineers, planners and business users to optimise operations while upholding strict security and regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP-enabled business processes.
• Understanding of MRP and production planning.
• Knowledge of SAP purchasing and procurement processes.
• Experience supporting SAP users and operations.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or production environments.
• Exposure to TeamCenter / PLM environments.
• Awareness of SAP-to-TeamCenter integration and data exchange.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong organisational and documentation skills.
• Experience in Defence, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Engineering or Government.
• Experience in highly secure or classified environments.
• Knowledge of engineering change-control processes.
• Experience with PLM systems.
• Understanding of secure and regulated operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP-enabled business processes across manufacturing and engineering environments.
• Provide operational and administrative support for MRP and production planning.
• Support procurement, purchasing and inventory management processes.
• Investigate and resolve system and process-related issues.
• Support data flows and integration between SAP and other enterprise systems.
• Assist with SAP and TeamCenter integration and related engineering processes.
• Work with stakeholders to improve processes and efficiency.
• Produce and maintain documentation, procedures and operational guidance.
• Support business-critical processes in a highly regulated secure environment.
• Ensure compliance with security and operational procedures.
