Job summary

Salt, a global firm, is looking for a DV Cleared QA Engineer with strong automation experience to support critical services. The role is on-site five days a week and available at Cheltenham, London, Manchester or Ipswich.

You’ll be hands-on, writing and maintaining automated tests, testing APIs and integrations, investigating defects and helping engineering teams build quality in from the start. You’ll work with CI/CD pipelines and drive testing improvements across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Active DV clearance.
• Solid commercial QA/testing experience.
• Strong test automation skills.
• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or REST Assured.
• Good understanding of CI/CD and modern testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites.
• Functional, integration and regression testing.
• API and end-to-end testing.
• Working with CI/CD pipelines and development teams.
• Investigating issues and driving defects through to resolution.
• Improving testing processes, tooling and automation.
