Job summary

Viasat is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our UK team in Farnborough. You will lead projects through full lifecycle, manage multi-disciplinary delivery teams, and ensure delivery to time, cost and quality while fostering strong customer relationships.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in technical project management, APMP/Prince 2 qualifications, and DV clearance eligibility. On-site presence is required for at least three days per week in Farnborough, with excellence in stakeholder

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in project management in a technical environment.
Qualified to APMP/Prince 2 Practitioner (or equivalent).
UK national and able to achieve DV clearance.
Role requires you to be on-site in Farnborough for a minimum of 3 days per week.
Strong working knowledge of common project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

Project reporting, including scheduling, financial reporting, budgeting and risk management.
Stakeholder management (Internal and External).
Cross-departmental working and matrix management of multi-disciplinary delivery teams.
Internal progress meetings and customer progress meetings (Teams and F2F).
Effort estimation, scheduling and resource planning.
Time management system and RAID identification/management.
Change control and compilation of whitepapers, bids and proposals with content, cost and scheduling information.
