Job summary

Experis is seeking an experienced PMO Consultant to support a high-profile government programme in Cheltenham. The role involves governance, controls, reporting, planning, financial management and delivery assurance to ensure successful outcomes.

DV clearance is required or eligible, with onsite work 3-4 days per week. Initial 12-month contract with strong extension potential and a daily rate of £40–£60 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven PMO experience in project/ programme support.
• Financial management across forecasting, budgeting and reporting.
• Experience with governance processes and performance metrics.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with data interpretation and insights.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PMO services across complex projects, ensuring governance and delivery excellence.
• Establish and improve project governance frameworks, controls and reporting.
• Coordinate programme financial management activities including forecasting and budgeting.
• Maintain RAID logs and monitor risks, issues and actions.
• Produce high-quality reports, dashboards and management information.
