Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd in Yeovil is seeking a Network Systems Engineer on a 6-month contract. The role requires a high level UK Security DV clearance and will involve lab network architecture, maintaining lab infrastructure, and supporting trials site activities.

You will apply secure-by-design principles, work with IPv4 addressing, VLANs, NetConf, and network deployment tasks to ensure reliable operations. The position offers an hourly rate up to £74 p/h Inside IR35.

Qualifications

• Experience with Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) principles.
• Proven CISO experience or qualification is desirable.
• Understanding of OSI model concepts and layering.
• Strong knowledge of IPv4 addressing schemes.
• Hands-on VLAN configuration and management.
• Experience in network architecture design and deployment.
• Familiarity with NetConf for network device management.
• Understanding of network security best practices.
• Awareness of safety critical networks environments.

Responsibilities

• Network Architecture for the Lab, maintaining Lab infrastructure and development areas.
• Configuration of systems as per Lead Systems Engineer requirements
• Supporting Trials Site activities
• Have a good understanding of UK MOD "secure by design"
