Job summary

Government Department is seeking an Enterprise Architect on an 18‑month contract. The role is hybrid (2 days onsite per week) with a day rate of around £600, inside IR35.

Reporting to the Head of Capability Transition, you will define, govern and maintain the enterprise architecture to support a major capability programme and related initiatives. You will lead the Technology & Architecture workstream, defining target-state architectures, standards and roadmaps for a scalable, secure

Qualifications

• Significant experience in enterprise, infrastructure, or security architecture.
• Experience governing complex architectures in regulated or security-focused environments.
• Ability to translate requirements into architecture outcomes and governance.

Responsibilities

• Define target architectures, standards, integration patterns and roadmaps.
• Govern architecture governance frameworks and assurance activities.
• Challenge and assure solution architectures and major technology changes.
• Ensure security-by-design across the capability lifecycle.
• Engage stakeholders to translate requirements into architecture outcomes.
