Job summary

Adecco Portugal is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect for a secure government client in Milton Keynes. The role is full-time and onsite on an 18-month contract with a daily rate of £650 Inside IR35, with some overseas travel.

You will define target architectures, enterprise standards, integration patterns and technology roadmaps, and provide architectural governance to ensure secure-by-design, resilient solutions aligned with future operating models.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in enterprise, infrastructure, security, or systems architecture in regulated environments.
• Experience defining architecture standards, governance frameworks, roadmaps and integration strategies.
• Ability to assess risks, challenge designs and assure solution architectures.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication with technical and non-technical audiences.

Enterprise Architect

• £650 daily Inside IR35
• 18 month contract

This secure government client is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to define target architectures, enterprise standards, integration patterns and technology roadmaps that enable the delivery of a scalable, interoperable and sustainable technology ecosystem. The role holder will provide independent architectural governance and design authority, ensuring technical solutions are secure-by-design, resilient, supportable and aligned to future operating models

Experience required:

• Significant experience in enterprise, infrastructure, systems, or security architecture, including the definition, governance, and assurance of complex technical architectures within regulated, security-focused, or operationally critical environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, systems integration, technology strategy, and architectural governance, with experience developing architecture standards, design principles, governance frameworks, technology roadmaps, and integration strategies across complex technology portfolios.
• Proven ability to assess architectural risks, evaluate technical trade-offs, and review, challenge, and assure solution architectures, technical designs, and strategic technology decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Level 6 qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, Cyber Security, or a related STEM discipline (or equivalent professional experience), together with membership of a relevant professional institution or equivalent professional standing
