Job summary

DataCareers seeks a DV-cleared Senior Enterprise Architect to lead and shape enterprise architecture across a large, regulated environment in central London. The role requires defining current, transition and target architectures, roadmaps, and architectural assurance across programmes and suppliers.

You will drive governance, ensure alignment with business, data and technology strategies, and lead architecture communities of practice in a complex delivery landscape.

Qualifications

• Significant enterprise architecture experience in large, complex organisations.
• Experience within Central Government, Defence or another highly regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of EA frameworks and methodologies.
• Experience coordinating architecture across multiple suppliers and delivery organisations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the organisation's Enterprise Architecture.
• Define current-state, transition-state and target-state architectures.
• Create and manage enterprise roadmaps aligned to strategic outcomes.
• Ensure traceability between objectives, capabilities, programmes and technology investments.
• Translate business strategy into actionable architectural roadmaps.
• Provide independent architectural challenge and assurance across programmes and projects.
• Establish architecture governance processes, principles and standards.
• Maintain architecture decision records and assurance documentation.
