Job summary

Copello seeks a DV-cleared Security Engineer to join a hybrid role in Cambridgeshire, working across Defence environments. You will collaborate with a Security Engineering Lead to implement, maintain and improve security controls on critical systems.

You will help develop baselines, manage configurations, assess vulnerabilities, and support SIEM and logging activities while contributing to documentation and artefacts for accreditation.

Qualifications

• DV clearance required for access to secure Defence environments.
• Proven experience implementing and maintaining security controls.
• Experience across Windows, Linux, virtualization, and network security.

Security Engineer (DV Cleared) - Cambridgeshire (Hybrid)

We're looking for DV-cleared Security Engineers to join a high-profile secure programme, working across complex Defence environments in Cambridgeshire.

You'll work alongside a Security Engineering Lead and wider engineering teams to implement, maintain and improve security controls across critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security tooling and technical controls
• Develop and maintain security baselines and secure configurations
• Assess vulnerabilities and implement effective risk mitigation
• Support SIEM, protective monitoring and security logging
• Work across Windows, Linux, virtualisation, networking and endpoint security
• Support security accreditation, testing and verification activities
• Produce technical/design documentation and security artefacts
