Job summary

Evodia Limited is seeking an experienced DV-cleared Applications Engineer to deploy, support, and maintain enterprise applications in a complex environment. The role is based in Corsham, Wiltshire, with four days per week onsite.

You will manage the full application lifecycle, integrate with AD/LDAP, and ensure secure-by-design practices across Windows and Linux environments. Strong automation, documentation, and ITIL-aligned service management are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting and supporting enterprise-level applications.
• Familiarity with managing Windows and Linux server environments and integrating applications with enterprise services (e.g., Active Directory).
• Strong troubleshooting skills, ability to produce technical artefacts, and understanding of IT service management (ITIL).

Responsibilities

• Manage full application lifecycle from install and configuration to patching, upgrades, and decommissioning.
• Support integration with enterprise services including Active Directory, LDAP, databases, and web services.
• Maintain and optimise application environments across development, test, and production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and system issues to minimise downtime.
• Implement secure-by-design principles aligned with security and hardening best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation such as design diagrams, build guides, and runbooks.
• Support system integration and testing for successful deployment and operational stability.
• Collaborate with Service Management to investigate incidents and support continuous improvement.
• Contribute to automation efforts and process standardisation to enhance deployment efficiency.
