Job summary

North Lanarkshire Council based in Coatbridge is recruiting to support its venue management team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality services, monitoring staff performance and driving membership sales across leisure activities.

Job description

NLC 7 £33,343 to £36,267 (Pro Rata)

Based in Townhead Community Centre, Coatbridge you will assist the Venue Management Team in ensuring the provision of services and activities are operated to a high standard as well as monitoring the performance of staff to provide exceptional standards of service for customers, maximise sales of memberships/related services and activities and achieve outstanding levels of customer retention. You will be able to contribute to the development and implementation of innovative and successful activity programmes.

Working as part of a team you will ensure all Health & Safety, maintenance, customer service delivery and any administrative tasks are dealt with promptly and accurately. You will carry out day to day duties, including staff supervision and motivating staff to ensure the highest level of customer service is provided.

You will have experience within a leisure/fitness or customer service position and will be able to communicate effectively at all times.

Educated to SVQ2, National or Higher Certificate, you will have a working knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations, with a current First Aid at Work Certificate.

You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member through Disclosure Scotland and obtain a satisfactory membership check prior to commencing in this role.

Work Pattern:

Saturday 8am to 4pm and Sunday 9am to 5pm
