Job summary

Nightcap is an award-winning operator of late-night bars in the UK, hiring a Duty Manager in Bristol to lead shifts and guide the team. You will ensure guest experiences remain seamless, support the General Manager, and uphold company standards across bartending, bar back, and floor teams.

This role is part-time, 25–30 hours per week, offering an hourly rate from £12.96 with a potential increase to £13.96. Benefits include food and drink discounts, EAP access, robust training, and clear career

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience working in a busy bar as a senior bartender or team leader.
• Resilient and adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment.
• Honest, hardworking, and a team player.
• Confident, self-motivated, and driven professional.
• Methodical and thorough when problem solving.
• Approachable at all times regardless of workload.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Some experience organising rotas and managing the bar’s labour margin would be beneficial.
• Knowledge in handling stocks, licensing, risk assessments, and health & safety.
• A hands-on manager who isn’t afraid to get behind a station when your team is in the weeds.
• Personal Licence is preferable but not required

• Be a team player, supporting your General Manager and team.
• Ensure our bartending team meets the standards of the company.
