Job summary

Premier Inn is looking for a Duty Manager in Bangor, Northern Ireland. You’ll lead shifts, work across reception, housekeeping and restaurant, and coach team members to ensure guests have a great stay. No hotel experience is required; transferable leadership in customer service is valued.

The role offers guaranteed hours, a fixed-term contract to January 2027, and opportunities to progress into hotel management. Pay is up to £13.86 per hour, with benefits through Whitbread schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading people in a busy customer-facing environment.
• Ability to coach and develop team members.
• Comfort handling guest queries and problems in a hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running smoothly.
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and leadership team.
