The Range in St Austell is seeking a proactive Duty Manager to help run our busy store, deliver outstanding customer service and lead a high-performing team on the shop floor. You will oversee daily operations, coaching colleagues, maintaining store standards, merchandising, health & safety, and ensuring smooth customer flow during peak times.

Qualifications

• Previous retail supervisory, team leader or management experience.
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational and problem-solving ability.
• Hands-on and flexible approach in fast-paced retail.
• Confidence leading from the front.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, helpful customer experience and resolve queries.
• Lead and coach store colleagues; manage induction and development.
• Maintain store standards, merchandising, and stock availability.
• Support security, cash control, health & safety procedures.
• Monitor EPOS, pricing compliance, and opening/closing procedures.
