Job summary

Whitbread is hiring a Duty Manager in Coventry East (M6 J2) for a permanent, full-time role with 32 guaranteed hours per week. The position offers a structured shift pattern, with evenings and weekends, and pays up to £13.86 per hour.

You’ll lead hotel operations across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant, ensuring guests have a great stay and your team has what it needs. This is a hands-on role on the hotel floor.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in busy, customer-facing environments.
• Strong people-management and coaching skills.
• Excellent guest-service and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver pre-shift briefings.
• Coach and support team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate with reception, housekeeping and restaurant teams.
