Job summary

ABM UK is seeking a vigilant Duty Controller for Wellgate Shopping Centre. You will monitor the CCTV system and perform daily control room duties to uphold client expectations and site standards.

You will protect public areas, service yards, toilets and back-of-house spaces, ensuring security and cleanliness while adhering to security procedures. Strong communication and a proactive approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA CCTV licence and either a Door Supervisor or Security Guarding licence.
• Exceptional communication, written and spoken.
• Security experience desirable.
• Strong customer service focus with attention to detail.
• Self-motivation, confidence and enthusiasm.
• Flexible/team player.

Responsibilities

LOCATION: Wellgate Shopping Centre

RATE OF PAY: COMPETITIVE

SHIFT PATTERN: 42.5 hours per week (average), 2 week rolling rota, Monday to Sunday. Week 1 - 2 off 3 on 2 off. Week 2 - 2 on 3 off 2 on

Job Objective & Responsibilities:

As a Duty Controller at Wellgate Shopping Centre you will be required to carry out Daily Control room duties including monitoring the CCTV system. You would be expected to work to a high standard in line with client expectation.

As a Duty Controller you will be required to ensure that the Shopping Malls, Centre Management Office, all public areas including all associated service yards/roads, toilets, common areas and back of house areas are fully secure and clean to a level of service which exceeds the clients expectations. You will be required to comply with both Security and site procedures.

Candidate requirements:
