Are you a skilled and reliable dumper operative looking for a long-term opportunity? We have an exciting opening to join our team working on a significant new substation project in the Seaham area. This is a fantastic chance to secure employment on a major infrastructure development.

About the Role:

As our experienced dumper operative, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement of materials around the substation construction site. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating various types of dumpers safely and efficiently.
• Transporting materials such as soil, aggregates, and waste.
• Performing daily checks and basic maintenance on the machinery.
• Adhering strictly to site health and safety regulations.
• Working closely with other site personnel to ensure smooth operations.
• Reporting any issues or concerns to the site management team.

Relevant Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a dumper operative on construction or similar projects.
• A valid CPCS or NPORS card for operating dumpers.
• A strong understanding of health and safety procedures on construction sites.
• Excellent machine operating skills and awareness of surroundings.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential.
• Full UK driving licence.
