Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting an experienced Dumper & Shovel Driver for ongoing work in the Newhaven area. You will operate a loading shovel and a dumper on site, loading, transporting and tipping materials while maintaining daily checks and safety standards.

This role offers ongoing work with an established client and weekly pay. The ideal candidate holds valid CPCS/NPORS tickets for dumper and loading shovel, is reliable, punctual and capable of working on a busy site.

Qualifications

• Valid Dumper ticket (CPCS/NPORS or equivalent).
• Valid Loading Shovel ticket (CPCS/NPORS or equivalent).
• Experience operating dumpers and loading shovels on site.
• Good understanding of site health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• Good communication skills and ability to work on a busy site.

Responsibilities

• Operate a loading shovel safely and efficiently.
• Operate a dumper on site.
• Load, transport and tip materials.
• Move materials around site.
• Carry out daily vehicle and machinery checks.
• Report any defects or safety concerns.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures.
• Assist with general site duties when required.
