Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting for an experienced Dumper Driver to work on a site in Newhaven, England. You will operate a loading shovel and a dumper, loading and moving materials and performing daily checks.

Valid CPCS/NPORS tickets for dumper and loading shovel are required. Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious applicants will be favored; weekly pay and ongoing work are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS/NPORS dumper ticket or equivalent.
• Valid CPCS/NPORS loading shovel ticket or equivalent.
• Experience operating dumpers and loading shovels.
• Good understanding of site health & safety.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Dumper & Shovel Driver to work with a well-established client in the Newhaven area.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Operating a loading shovel safely and efficiently
• Operating a dumper on site
• Loading, transporting and tipping materials
• Moving materials around site
• Carrying out daily vehicle and machinery checks
• Reporting any defects or safety concerns
• Following all site health & safety procedures
• Assisting with general site duties when required

Requirements

• Valid Dumper ticket – CPCS, NPORS or equivalent
• Valid Loading Shovel ticket – CPCS, NPORS or equivalent
• Previous experience operating dumpers and loading shovels
• Good understanding of site health & safety
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitudePrevious experience working on a busy site
