Job summary

Norse Contracts Ltd is hiring a Forward Tipping Dumper Driver for a school construction project in Welwyn Garden City. Immediate start from tomorrow is required on a temporary/contract basis.

You will operate a forward tipping dumper, move materials around site, and perform pre-use checks while adhering to health and safety standards. This role suits someone with proven site experience and availability to start immediately.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS or CPCS forward tipping dumper card (A09) is essential.
• Proven experience driving dumpers on construction sites.
• Good understanding of health and safety on site.
• Reliable, punctual and available to start tomorrow.
• Optional: own PPE or transport; DBS check may be preferred for school site work.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forward tipping dumper safely on a live site.

• Work with groundworks team and banksman, following site rules.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Forward Tipping Dumper Driver to join our team on a school construction project in Welwyn Garden City. This is an immediate start, so we need someone available from tomorrow.

Duties include:

• Operating a forward tipping dumper safely around a live site
• Moving muck-away, aggregates and materials around site
• Carrying out daily pre-use checks on the machine
• Working closely with the groundworks team and banksman
• Following all site rules, especially important on a school site

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS card or CPCS card (Forward Tipping Dumper A09) - essential
• Proven experience driving dumpers on construction sites
• Good understanding of health and safety
• Reliable, punctual and able to start tomorrow

• [Optional: Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to get one, as this is a school site]
