Dubai based Crude Oil & Refined Products CTRM Senior Business Analyst

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Crude Oil & Refined Products Business Analyst keen to relocate to Dubai, enjoy tax-free income, lots of sunshine, and be part of the brand new start-up asset-backed commodity trading arm of a top 15 Global Oil Major.

Company: Asset-backed commodity trading firm setting up their global trading desk in Dubai.

Role: Experienced Crude Oil & Refined Products Senior Business Analyst to manage all the company’s day-to-day Oil Trading Operations, supporting traders.

Location: This is a Dubai (UAE) based role, so it is essential that you currently live or are willing to relocate to Dubai and work 5 days in their Dubai office. Flexibility for remote work may increase as the company grows.

Visa: Full UAE visa sponsorship and relocation allowance & assistance provided.

Salary: Open, tax-free, plus relocation allowance & assistance, bonus, and UAE visa sponsorship.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the company’s in-house E/CTRM system, ERP systems, compliance tools, and analytics platform.
• Conduct core business analysis – requirements gathering, writing functional specifications, training, and supporting users on the E/CTRM system.
• Collaborate closely with trading desks to optimize application functionality and user experience.
• Provide day-to-day support.

Key skills sought:

• Deep knowledge of Crude Oil & Refined Products ETRM / CTRM, gained through experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within an Oil Major or Commodity Trading firm. Experience with consultancy or E/CTRM software vendors working on-site at such firms is also relevant.
• Strong SQL and database skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills at a senior level.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
