Dubai based Crude Oil & Refined Products CTRM Senior Business Analyst

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Crude Oil & Refined Products Business Analyst keen to relocate to Dubai, enjoy tax-free income, lots of sunshine, and join the brand new start-up asset-backed commodity trading arm of a top 15 Global Oil Major.

Company: Asset-backed commodity trading firm establishing their global trading desk in Dubai.

Role: Experienced Crude Oil & Refined Products Senior Business Analyst responsible for managing all of the company’s daily Oil Trading Operations and supporting traders.

Location: Dubai (UAE). Candidates must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to Dubai. The role initially requires working 5 days a week in the Dubai office, with potential for increased flexibility and remote work as the company grows.

Visa: Full UAE visa sponsorship, relocation allowance, and assistance provided.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the company’s in-house E/CTRM system, ERP systems, compliance tools, and analytics platform.
2. Conduct core business analysis, including requirements gathering, writing functional specifications, training, and supporting users on the E/CTRM system.
3. Collaborate with trading desks to optimize application functionality and user experience.
4. Provide day-to-day support for trading operations.

Key Skills:

1. Deep knowledge of Crude Oil & Refined Products ETRM/CTRM systems gained from roles in Oil Majors or Commodity Trading firms, or relevant consultancy or software vendor experience working on-site with such companies.
2. Project management experience.
3. Strong SQL and database skills.
4. Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
5. Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
6. Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
