Job summary

Ganymede is seeking a dual‑skilled Mechanical & Electrical Technician for our Leeds site on a permanent basis. You will work in a heavy, hands‑on environment, carrying out maintenance and fault finding on specialist vehicles, with a structured training and development plan.

The role offers 4 on 4 off days/nights, a salary of £45,000–£55,000 with benefits, and a clear path to progression within a growing UK‑wide engineering company.

Qualifications

• Commitment to safe working practices.
• Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance activities.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to health & safety and local safety policy requirements, and other safety and technical standards.
• Ensure company engineering standards and procedures are applied and followed.
• Mechanically and electrically maintain, service, fault find in vehicles in accordance with approved maintenance plans.
• Ensure all relevant paperwork for examinations and repairs is correctly completed to company standards.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Being able to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
