Job summary

Meridian Trust is seeking a Deputy SENDCo shared between Stamford Welland Academy and The Bluecoat School. You will coordinate SEND provision across two sites, working with the SENDCo and teams to identify needs and implement strategies that support student outcomes.

Requirements include a strong understanding of inclusive education, excellent relationships with families and staff, and the ability to work effectively across two school settings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate effective provision for students with SEND across both schools
• Work closely with the SENDCo and wider school teams
• Identify individual needs and ensure appropriate support is in place
• Build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues
• Contribute to the development of SEND provision
• Support colleagues with strategies and interventions
• Support high-quality inclusive practice across both schools
• Help students with additional needs access learning, build confidence and achieve their potential
