Job summary

Maiden Erlegh Trust is seeking an Assistant Site Controller to work across Great Hollands Primary School and Birch Hill Primary School in Bracknell. The role may be full-time or part-time job share, with early mornings and evenings as required to open and close the sites.

You will support day-to-day upkeep, security, maintenance and safety across both schools, contributing to a welcoming and secure environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities or site maintenance is valuable.
• Willingness to work split shifts including early mornings and evenings.
• Reliable and committed with safeguarding focus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine H&S checks (fire safety, water hygiene, emergency lighting, alarms).
• Assist with security, access control and CCTV systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness across buildings and grounds.
• Support setup of school events and activities.
• Key-holding responsibilities and occasional out-of-hours duties.
• Support wider operational needs contributing to a safe learning environment.
• Move furniture and set up rooms for events.
• Work across both Great Hollands and Birch Hill sites.
