Job Description:

Brook Street Social Care is working with an established supported living service across the North West, supporting individuals with mental health and learning disabilities and difficulties.

Role: DUAL Service Manager

Sector: Learning Disabilities and Mental Health - Complex Needs

Location: Macclesfield and Crewe

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience

Job Purpose:

To manage and coordinate a team across two sites, Crewe and Macclesfield, ensuring effective support for vulnerable individuals with dual diagnoses of mental health and learning disabilities. Responsibilities include staff guidance, risk management, liaising with agencies, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Line manage staff, ensuring service excellence and managing performance issues
  • Conduct risk assessments and reviews, maintain up-to-date support plans and risk assessments for clients
  • Complete assessments and support plans, setting effective goals
  • Handle client, family, and third-party inquiries and complaints, escalating when necessary
  • Oversee support delivery, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Maintain electronic records and generate reports for performance monitoring
  • Create team champion roles for development
  • Participate in on-call duties and work flexibly across a 7-day rota
Qualifications:
  • Health and Social Care qualification such as NVQ Level 3
  • Experience with the relevant client group
  • Proven ability to manage multiple sites
  • Good time management skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
