Job summary

Alliance Automotive Logistics is offering a dual Driver/Warehouse Operative role at our branch in the UK. The role requires switching between driving deliveries and managing warehouse tasks, including order picking, loading, stock checks and dispatch coordination.

Applicants should hold a Full UK Driving Licence, be flexible and have good timekeeping, with prior experience in warehousing or vehicle parts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pack and load products onto vans according to company’s specifications.
• Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.
• Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher.
• Unload goods as per client specifications.
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs.
• Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer.
• Picking customer orders, loading vans and making regular checks to ensure all orders are picked correctly.
• Oversee the dispatch of orders and coordinate van deliveries.
• Checking and putting away supplier deliveries, informing your line manager of any shortages or damaged stock.
• Assist with a rolling stock taking program, ensuring all stock is located correctly at all times.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
