Job summary

Alliance Automotive Logistics is seeking a proactive Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our busy branch. The role blends driving duties with warehouse tasks, including loading, dispatch, stock checks, and maintaining a clean, safe workplace.

You will operate on a dual basis as required, delivering orders and ensuring accurate stock handling across shifts. The ideal candidate will hold a full UK driving licence, have reliable timekeeping, and be flexible to cover both driver and warehouse

Responsibilities

• Pack and load products onto vans according to company’s specifications.
• Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.
• Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher.
• Unload goods as per client specifications.
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs.
• Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer.
• Picking customer orders, loading vans and making regular checks to ensure all orders are picked correctly.
• Oversee the dispatch of orders and coordinate van deliveries.
• Checking and putting away supplier deliveries, informing your line manager of any shortages or damaged stock.
• Assist with a rolling stock taking program, ensuring all stock is located correctly at all times.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
