Job summary

Alliance Automotive Logistics, the distribution arm of Alliance Automotive Group, is hiring a Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our busy team. The role combines driving with warehouse duties, including packing, loading, delivering orders, and stock checks across branch operations.

Ideal candidates will hold a flexible full UK driving licence and demonstrate good timekeeping and reliability in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Driver: Pack and load products onto vans according to company’s specifications
• Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes
• Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher
• Unload goods as per client specifications
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
• Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer
• Warehouse Operative: Picking customer orders, loading vans and making regular checks to ensure all orders are picked correctly
• Oversee the dispatch of orders and coordinate van deliveries
• Checking and putting away supplier deliveries, informing your line manager of any shortages or damaged stock
• Assist with a rolling stock taking program, ensuring all stock is located correctly at all times
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment
