Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a Dual Registered Manager for two children's residential homes in Poole, Dorset. This permanent, full-time role offers up to £54,000 per year and requires Leadership and Management qualifications plus NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People.

You will lead safeguarding, drive outcomes for young people, manage staff teams, and work with families and external agencies to meet individual needs.

Qualifications

• Leadership and management experience with two children's residential homes preferred.
• NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People is required or willingness to obtain.
• Leadership/management qualification preferred.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and compliance with relevant legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, coordinate and develop two children's residential homes to achieve positive outcomes for young people.
• Promote partnership working with families, colleagues and external agencies to meet individual needs.
• Provide effective leadership by implementing organisational strategies and objectives, supporting service growth.
• Promote team development, engagement and effective teamwork across both homes.
• Lead on setting standards, monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement across both services.
• Line manage staff across both homes, ensuring induction, supervision and performance reviews.

A great new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Dual Residential Registered Manager for two children's services based in the Poole, Dorset area.You will join a provider with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality care and achieving positive outcomes for children and young people

This is a fantastic care provider dedicated to supporting children and young people who have complex emotional and behavioural needs, providing a safe and supportive environment

As the Manager your key responsibilities include:

• Lead, manage, coordinate and develop two high-quality children's residential homes, ensuring positive outcomes for young people
• Promote partnership working with young people, their families, colleagues and external agencies to ensure individual needs are effectively met
• Provide effective leadership by implementing organisational strategies and objectives, supporting the continued success and growth of service
• Promote team development, engagement and effective team working across both homes
• Lead on setting standards, monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement across both services
• Line manage staff teams across both homes, ensuring all employees receive appropriate induction, supervision, performance reviews and support

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Strong knowledge of childcare and safeguarding legislation, including the Children Act 1989, Care Standards Act 2000, Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards
• The ability to lead safeguarding practice, manage risk, respond effectively to incidents and ensure the homes protect and promote the welfare of children at all times
• 2-3 years of management experience, including experience of leading and developing staff teams
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead with confidence, professionalism and resilience
• A strong commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for children and young people

**To be considered for this position you must hold a Leadership and Management qualification, or willingness to work towards one, together with NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People**

The successful Dual Registered Manager will receive an excellent salary up to £54,000 per annum.This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 40 hours a week.In return or your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
