Job description

Ready to take the lead and make a bigger impact?

Enfield & North Finchley | Supported Living | Learning Disabilities

Earn up to £55,000 OTE while leading two dual-registered Supported Living services and making a genuine difference to the lives of the people we support.

Glenholme Specialist Healthcare is looking for an ambitious, experienced Registered Manager who is ready to take ownership, develop high-performing teams and help shape the future of two specialist services.

This isn't simply a role where you maintain the status quo. It's an opportunity to lead, develop and grow.

TWO SERVICES. ONE LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY.

You'll take overall responsibility for our dual-registered Supported Living services in Enfield and North Finchley, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities and complex needs.

Your leadership will directly influence the quality of support people receive, the development of your teams and the continued growth of the services.

We're looking for someone who combines strong operational leadership with genuine care, someone who can spot opportunities, solve problems and turn ideas into positive outcomes.

WHY THIS ROLE? WHY NOW?

Glenholme Specialist Healthcare is an award-winning specialist healthcare provider with over 30 years of experience, and we're continuing to grow.

In the last two years alone, we've opened six new services, with further expansion planned.

As Registered Manager, you'll be joining an organisation that embraces innovation, technology and new ways of working, while remaining firmly focused on delivering outstanding, person-centred support.

You’ll also have access to:

  • Further training and industry-recognised qualifications
  • A diverse and inclusive workforce representing 36+ nationalities
  • Specialist training and professional development
  • The opportunity to influence and develop your services
  • A supportive environment where good leadership is recognised and rewarded

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you’ll have overall responsibility for the operational management and continued development of your services.

Your role will include:

  • Leading, recruiting, developing and performance-managing your team
  • Managing the day-to-day operation of two dual-registered services
  • Responding to referrals and completing assessments of need
  • Developing and reviewing personalised support plans
  • Driving meaningful goals, outcomes and independence
  • Coordinating person-centred reviews
  • Building strong relationships with families and professionals
  • Working closely with commissioners, multidisciplinary teams and external agencies
  • Maintaining a safe, welcoming and person-centred environment
  • Driving continuous improvement and service development
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, legislation and organisational policies
  • Leading the services through registration, inspection and ongoing regulatory requirements

In short, you’ll have the responsibility, autonomy and opportunity to make your mark.

THE PACKAGE

£40,000–£45,000 basic salary + annual performance-related bonus, with on-target earnings of up to £55,000 per annum.

You’ll also receive:

  • 33 days annual leave, including Bank Holidays*
  • *Up to 12.5% annual performance-related bonus
  • *Additional day off for your birthday
  • *£10,000 life insurance cover
  • Employee Assistance Programme, including wellbeing, financial and family support
  • Paid specialist training and industry-recognised qualifications*

*Terms and conditions apply.

ARE YOU THE LEADER WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

You’ll be an experienced and confident Registered Manager who knows what great care looks like, and has the leadership skills to make it happen.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Proven experience managing services supporting people with learning disabilities and complex needs
  • Experience leading, motivating and developing high-performing teams
  • A relevant care qualification such as QCF Level 4/5 or equivalent, RMN, DipSW or similar
  • At least three years' experience working with individuals with learning disabilities
  • A strong understanding of CQC, safeguarding and care governance
  • Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
  • A genuine commitment to person-centred care
  • Confidence working with families, commissioners, professionals and external agencies
  • Strong commercial awareness and an ability to identify opportunities for service development
  • Experience managing regulatory requirements and maintaining consistently high standards

Experience or training in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) would also be advantageous.

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who wants to lead from the front, develop people and improve outcomes.

MORE THAN A MANAGEMENT ROLE

At Glenholme Specialist Healthcare, we believe great services start with great people.

We’re committed to creating an environment built around equality, inclusion and respect, where everyone is treated with dignity and has the opportunity to thrive.

With continued growth ahead, this is an exciting time to join us and play a key role in what comes next.

READY FOR YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE?
