Job summary

Agincare is seeking an ambitious Dual Registered Manager to lead the opening of two brand new children’s residential homes in Redcar and Cleveland. You will shape service development, lead two dedicated teams and ensure high standards of safeguarding and compliant practice from the outset.

In this role you will implement care plans, embed best practice, support staff through the registration process and drive excellent outcomes for children and young people while maintaining regulatory

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in children’s residential care, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations, and relevant legislation in children’s services.
• Experience planning and implementing care plans and maintaining documentation to a high standard in line with Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.

About the Role

As the Dual Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our children’s residential homes located in Redcar and Cleveland. As an experienced manager, you will confidently lead and support dedicated teams, fostering a safe, positive, and inclusive environment where children and staff can thrive. You will play a key role in establishing and developing this new service, ensuring high-quality care delivery while maintaining full compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements. This is a unique opportunity to help shape and embed best practice across these homes from the outset, ensuring outstanding outcomes for the children and young people we support.

What You Need to Be Successful in This Role

Essential

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in children’s residential care, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of safeguarding,Ofstedregulations, and relevant legislation in children’s services.
• Experience in planning and implementing care plans and maintaining documentation to a high standard in line withChildren’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015and Quality Standards.
• Experience supporting children and young people with learning disabilities who may display complex behaviours.
• Experience leading Ofsted home inspections.

Desirable

Experience opening or developing new services is advantageous.
