Job summary

Abacus Careers is working with a top Belfast firm seeking a dual-qualified Corporate Solicitor (NI & England & Wales or ROI) with at least 1 year PQE. You will handle a steady flow of corporate matters, including M&A, restructures, and investments, and be trusted to run matters with increasing responsibility.

You'll work with partners on cross-border deals, sharpening both technical and commercial skills in a supportive, high-performing environment with clear progression.

Qualifications

• Dual qualification (NI and England & Wales or ROI) with at least 1 year PQE in corporate law.
• Strong technical grounding with a commercial mindset; understand how deals work in practice.

Responsibilities

• Work on a steady flow of corporate transactions, including M&A deals, restructures, and investment work.
• Be client-facing, involved in negotiations, and trusted to run matters as experience grows.
• Collaborate with experienced partners on complex deals to sharpen technical and commercial skills.
• Operate across owner-managed and cross-border transactions to keep work varied and career-building.
