Job summary

Achuman Capital is working with a top-tier international law firm seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Corporate M&A practice in the Belfast office. The role involves handling a broad range of corporate and commercial matters across jurisdictions, including M&A, private equity, and reorganisations.

The successful candidate will conduct large-scale due diligence, draft reports and documents, and support deal execution, joint ventures, governance, and client relationships.

Qualifications

• 1+ PQE
• Strong background in corporate M&A and private equity within a medium to large commercial practice
• Outstanding academics
• Willingness to become involved in business development
• Ability to work independently and within a team

Responsibilities

• Assist in a range of corporate and commercial matters.
• Support clients in M&A, private equity, and reorganisations.

The Role

The successful candidate will join market-leading Corporate practice, assisting in a range of corporate and commercial matters, often across multiple jurisdictions. Responsibilities include supporting clients in M&A, private equity, and re-organisations, as well as conducting large-scale due diligence projects, drafting due diligence reports, and drafting corporate and commercial documentation. The candidate will also support clients in corporate transactions, deal execution, joint ventures, post-merger integrations, and corporate governance.

The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.
