Job summary

Orion Smart Metering is hiring experienced Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers to join our expanding national team, delivering safe, compliant meter installations across domestic properties in the UK. You will work Monday to Friday 8am–5pm with optional weekend work, earning a base salary of £45,000 per year plus generous holiday entitlement and vehicle support.

Qualifications

• Smart Meter Engineering qualification or diploma
• CMA1/CCN1 and MET1 certifications
• MOCOPA certification (or obtained during induction)
• Full UK driving licence
• DBS check (recent within 3 months preferred)

Responsibilities

• Install smart meters safely and efficiently in domestic properties
• Deliver a professional, customer-focused service
• Ensure all work meets industry safety and compliance standards
• Represent Orion as part of a nationwide engineering team
