Job summary

Orion is recruiting experienced Dual Fuel Smart Metering Engineers to join our expanding metering workforce, installing smart meters in domestic properties across the region. This is a long-term opportunity with excellent earning potential, structured training, and multiple engagement routes to suit your preferred way of working.

This PAYE employed role offers £42,000 per annum, with a van and fuel card, 33 days holiday, pension, Perkbox access and a recommend-a-friend bonus.

Qualifications

• Induction & training: 3-week structured programme (Week 1: remote learning, Week 2: local mentoring, Week 3: Dual Fuel Assessment at training centre)
• On-site field work delivering dual fuel smart metering installations
• Domestic properties across the region

Responsibilities

• Daily start at 8am on site; 8am–5pm (Mon–Fri) with 1h lunch
• On-call shifts 11am–8pm; minimum 4 completed jobs per day
• Complete jobs within shift and adhere to schedule/notice changes
