Job summary

Orion Smart Metering is seeking an experienced Dual Fuel Engineer to install smart meters in domestic properties across the UK. This full-time role offers a stable position with competitive pay, bonuses, and benefits as part of a growing nationwide contracts team.

You will perform meter installations, maintain high safety standards, and deliver professional customer service on every visit, supporting Orion’s nationwide engineering operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or qualification in Smart Meter Engineering.
• MOCOPA certification (completed on induction if not already held).
• CCN1 and/or MET1 certifications required.
• Valid driving licence and DBS check.
• Documents: Driving licence, passport, gas certificates, MOCOPA, NI number, references, and DBS.

Responsibilities

• Install smart meters safely and efficiently in domestic properties.
• Deliver a professional, customer-focused service on every visit.
• Ensure all work meets industry safety and compliance standards.
• Represent Orion Smart Metering as part of a nationwide engineering team.
