Job summary

Orion Smart Metering are expanding their national contracts and seek experienced Dual Fuel Engineers to install meters in domestic properties across the UK. The role requires living in postcodes GU1-12, 14-25, 46-47, 51-52 and delivering a professional service on every visit.

The package includes a £45,000 annual salary, 33 days holiday, a company van, fuel card, tools, and uniform, with additional daily rate options. Monday–Friday 8am5pm, with optional weekend work after targets are met.

Qualifications

• Diploma or qualification in Smart Meter Engineering.
• MOCOPA certification (completed on induction if not already held).
• CMA1 certificate or CCN1 & MET1.
• Valid driving licence.
• Clean DBS check (recent certificate within 3 months preferred).
• EUSR card (advantageous but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Install smart meters safely and efficiently in domestic properties.
• Deliver a professional, customer-focused service on every visit.
• Ensure all work meets industry safety and compliance standards.
• Represent Orion proudly as part of a nationwide engineering team.
