Job summary

Sureserve Energy Services Meters is seeking a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer to replace meters in customers’ homes and provide after-care support. Based in Lancaster, you will demonstrate and train customers on their new meters and ensure long-term reliability.

The role requires a minimum of 6 months’ experience fitting dual fuel meters, a full UK driving licence, and relevant gas/electric metering qualifications. Competitive salary with bonuses and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• MET1 certification required.
• CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 certs needed.
• MOCOPA (1a and 1c) certification.
• REGT1 and polyphase knowledge desirable not essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence mandatory.
• Minimum 6 months experience fitting dual fuel smart meters.
• 3 phase or single-off multi experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Exchange gas and electricity meters in customers' homes.
• Provide a first-class after-care service with a full meter demonstration.
• Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Purpose of the role:

To exchange gas and electricity meters in customers homes.

Provide a first class after-care service which includes a full demonstration to the customer on using their new meter.

Repairing and maintaining meters after initial install.

Banding A - Dual Fuel Engineer - £ 39,923 per annum

OTE for DF only engineer £48-53K uncapped

Performance bonus

Weekly meter fit bonus scheme

£60 per month lunch expenses
