Job summary

Rock Recruitment is seeking a Smart Energy Engineer to install and service gas and electric meters at customers' homes across the United Kingdom. You will replace meters, demonstrate usage, and ensure safety compliance throughout every installation.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in dual fuel engineering, strong gas/electrical knowledge, and a customer-focused mindset. A Level 2 Smart Metering diploma and relevant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Dual Fuel Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of gas and electrical systems.
• A professional, customer-focused approach.
• Level 2 diploma in Smart Metering
• MET1
• CMA1/CCN1
• MOCOPA (1a and 1c)
• Full UK driving license

Responsibilities

• Safely replace gas and electricity meters in customers' homes, following all health & safety procedures and industry regulations.
• Provide first-class after-care service, including full demonstrations to customers on using their new meters.
• Repair and maintain meters after initial installation.

We are currently recruiting Smart Metering Engineers.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're offering an exciting opportunity for a qualified Smart Energy Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll be delivering services directly to customers' homes, helping us achieve our mission of driving progress towards net-zero. Whether it's a new installation or a complex repair, you'll represent our client—one of the Big 6 energy companies—while providing high-quality service to our customers. To succeed in this role, you will need at least 2 years of qualified experience, as some of the tasks can be challenging. You'll be working closely with our Field Managers and will have plenty of support in the field.

KEY RESPONSBILITIES
